The location was great and very convenient. Unfortunately, our apartment faced the main street, so there was quite a bit of traffic and street noise, especially at night. It did make it difficult to sleep, so if you’re a light sleeper, I would recommend requesting an apartment away from the main street.

Do not book this hotel. There was zero hot water on any of the days, and on our last day there was no water at all. Took over an hour first morning to get our breakfast (eggs and toast) which came out cold. Weak lukewarm instant coffee! Second morning no better, we asked for hot water to use our own Starbucks instant coffee, and again, only lukewarm.

The Lava Restaurant was closed to “us” the night of our stay as it was being used for a group. We received a private tour of the caves however. The room was clean but a mild musty odor was present.

Samey was wonderful and she
helped me to sign up for day trips ahead of our visit and she recommended some great restaurants for some delicious meals.
Our room on the second floor had a direct ocean view and the hotel had a really good location,a short walk from the ferry.
The
Hotel Albemarle Galapagos Beachfront is a great hotel.
