"The staff made everything easy from the start. Check-in and check-out were very quick and smooth. Everyone we interacted with was kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. During our stay, the power went out due to the hurricane, but the hotel had a generator, so everything continued running without issue. That gave us a lot of peace of mind. I also requested an extra blanket, and it was delivered to our room within minutes. That kind of attentive service really stood out. Overall, the combination of efficient service, friendly staff, and reliable facilities made our stay very comfortable. And had a lot of places to go and eat very close. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone visiting St. Thomas."

"All the staff was extremely helpful. Jayaire, the bartender in the lobby area was amazing. He came up with a special drink for us and it was a hit with several guests that asked what we were drinking. Other bartenders were not interested in learning it so we went elsewhere when he left daily at 5. He was amazing and made our trip even better. Best bartender!!"

"Everything about the Ritz was nice. The staff are the best part of resort. Friendly and eager to help out. If I had to complain about one thing, it would be the bathrooms around the resort...With the exception of the bathroom at Alora, none of them are airconditioned. Without air-conditioning, it get hits real hot, and the smell isnt pleasant either. "

"Got stuck in STT a couple of nights when flights were cancelled due to Hurricane Erin. Staff were very courteous and accommodating, even as they were at work during a Cat 5 instead of at home with their families. Parts of the island flooded and were without power, but the Emerald Beach Resort had a generator and felt very safe. The restaurant and bar were delicious, and we even got a chance to walk the beach and play in the pool after the storm passed. Conveniently located near the airport was a plus for those in our party flying standby. "
