The decor was lovely, the bed was very comfortable, and the shared spaces (like the pool/terrace) were great for meeting other travelers. « My wife and I stayed in an Ocean Upper in May 2026. It was a very high level resort experience. The grounds are lushly landscaped and impeccably maintained. We did not use the pool, but it is beautiful and has several levels of seating from which to watch the sea and the sunsets. Our room was in great condition and very clean. « Be sure to clarify what specific room you are getting prior to your trip. Ours what not the same level of quality as the one we had expected. And after a couple days of investigating we realized there was bat droppings falling on our bed and they were unable to move us to another room until whole 24 hours later. We had to rearrange the furniture to move the bed to a "safe zone" to sleep. All of it was unfortunate. The kid the front desk tried to be helpful, but wasn't really able to do...

« It rained the day we arrived and when we got there, the whole kitchen and living room were flooded and the rug was soaked for the whole 7 day trip so the whole house stunk of mildew the entire trip. We woke up sick every morning from breathing in the nasty air all night. « Unfortunately, this location was not great. After traveling for hours from IL we wanted to kick back, but we spent the entire evening trying to book another villa. There was a strong moldy smell as you walked in. Sand was on the chair, floor, & stove. The air conditioner in the bedroom had a hole in it where anything can crawl in. The ceiling also had water damage & it was exposed and moldy. The faucet in the bathroom was super loose so when you went to wash your hands the whole thing moved....

« Bare minimum, tight wade, 1 roll of TP, 5 sheets of paper towel. Needed a good cleaning or maid to come and really get it up to par. It was like I stayed at a friend's house and they gave me thier sons room to sleep in. So weird. »
