« Looking for a cozy getaway in the woods , The Country did not disappoint. It was a stormy weekend which turned the already beautiful scenic area into a winter wonderland. Stayed cozy all weekend next to the fireplace, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, playing games & reading books. « Lovely older redone home. Right across from water. We met three fisherman coming in from the day fishing. Spent time with them while they cleaned the cod. A lot of fun with those boys!!! »

« Where do we start. This boathouse has everything you would ever need or what. The water view was breath taking. Brenda decorated the place so nice. Just beautiful.Rod and Brenda who own the boathouse were so friendly and helpful. You don't want to miss this place to stay. « Had a stay in mid September--lots of amazing weather to experience: hot, cool, stormy, calm, hazy, crisp. Enjoyed the deck and sun and the cozy fireplace. So close to the East Coast Trail for great hikes. Had friends come for some meals and it was a great space to visit and enjoy. It feels remote yet safe. « The house itself was beautiful - exposed wood, huge windows, and every amenity you could ask for. But best of all were the surroundings you could see from those windows: the ocean was right outside, as were the woods and walking trails. The view from the house was spectacular, and at night we all gazed for hours at the moonlight sparkling on the ocean. »

« Million dollar view was hampered by tall trees. Very deceiving. No closets, hangers, hooks or drawers (already full), to store our clothing. No practical hooks in the bathroom. Miniscule counter space in bathroom (a shelf would be welcomed). With the window in the main bedroom facing the road we were disturbed early in the morning (6am) by traffic noise (trucks, trailers, quads, etc.). Mattress sagged considerably in the middle. »

« Great location. Has everything you need and more. Comfy beds. Bathroom could use some fixing up but it was totally useable. A lot of stairs which didnt bother us but some may like to know that upfront. Was a fabulous weekend in a beautiful city. »
