The hotel is very close to the university. I very much enjoyed my stay. The staff were all very lovely and helpful - the best part about the stay, really!! I also very much enjoyed the onsite restaurant.
It’s an older building though they seem to keep it up well, was clean, beds were extremely comfortable, staff were wonderful and the pub has excellent food and service. Absolutely excellent stay for the price
The room was well cleaned, the staff both in office & pub were very welcoming, the dining experiences are highly recommended

The stay was enjoyable. Great location. Amazing breakfast. The place itself was a bit outdated, but clean. The staff were all awesome. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.
Room was very clean. Staff very friendly.Very close to shops & restaurants. Only problem if your room is on the 2nd floor or 3rd, there are no elevators.
The staff were excellent - halo full & always so friendly. The room was clean, bed was super comfy & had everything you need & it all worked fine. It’s a wee bit dated but has great charm. The Pub was the highlight - excellent food & array of beers on tap. The staff & the locals are the best people ever!
And you are a nice walk to Quidi Vidi, Signal Hill, The Battery & the harbour front. Great spot! Would recommend to friends looking to visit. Would come back for sure!

This hotel is dated and needs some updating. Our room (double) was small and cramped, however it was clean and well equipped with a mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave and hairdryer, etc. The bed was small but comfy and clean. The full breakfast in the restaurant was amazing! The staff were friendly and helpful.
All in all our stay was good. Onsite free parking is also a bonus. We would stay here again but maybe in a queen room.

Breakfast was amazing! The room was great, however, our bathtub was quite leaky and our AC unit projected some debris, which was unappealing. Staff was very helpful and stay was comfortable otherwise!
Enjoyed a few drink at the bar. Service was perfect.

Good location, close to the Avalon mall. Nice looking hotel, however the rooms had a bit of a stale smell; perhaps the carpet was old. Otherwise, very nice, clean rooms, good for a place to sleep. Restaurant on site had good food. Would stay there again.
Excellent breakfast.

I loved the toutons on the menu.
My server on Friday and Saturday breakfasts was excellent and so upbeat.
The long wait at the bar - perhaps hire more staff.
Sunday breakfast - I called the Inn to open the doors. Server had difficulty with the coffee machine and was rattled by all the guests coming for breakfast. Definitely required more staff. I waited 23 minutes and she had only served one table - so I had to leave because I could not wait any longer as I still had to pack my suitcase (which would 10 minutes)but there were still 8+ more tables to serve. There should have been more staff because they knew how many customers stayed at the Inn - and they should've known (approximately) how many people would be at breakfast.
Great standard room & facilities. The best part is the east coast charm! Easy parking & super location. Bar/restaurant is fun & delicious! *Love* The Guv!
