Lovely little hotel and restaurant in Brantome. Owner was very friendly and welcoming. Room was nicely decorated with view from balcony and comfy bed. Ate the restaurant and food was delicious.

Lovely place to stay. Hôtel old chateaux, so don’t expect new hotel. It blends old tradition with comfort. Dining wonderful and food superb.
Great stop off and short drive to town.

This hotel is fantastic, the setting is beautiful with the mill turning and the river the setting is sublime.
The food was excellent we had the fixed menu which was excellent valu

The property is lovely, although a little tired; the room was large with sofa, good storage and some strange wall hangings (think swords and battle axes!), but the bed was below par - two different beds pushed together that moved and were not very comfortable. The gym is good with a balcony that looks over the forest, and the spa was great with good massages and spa facilities. Overall, a recommend, but wish they would upgrade the bed, pillows and bedding to match to overall feeling of the hotel.
