"The walls are so thin it sounded like every noise was in our room. Breakfast was comical and nonexistent. Had a strange stale smell in the ac unit."

"Not Sure if Hotels.com messed up my reservation but they did not have 1 of my 2 rooms ready. had to improvise and find another place. ladies at front desk were not helpful at all, but the gentlemen that came in at 11pm helped us find options to continue our stay at Bastrop "

"Starting with check-in- at 3pm- checkin time- we went into the office a man came out- said he could not check us in. He called someone else who was over at the adjoining cafe- who then eventually got there and checked us in. She was very nice and efficient. But had no king bed rooms left- which is what i had made reservations for. So, ok. The rooms are just that- a room- nothing special, few amenities, but relatively clean. Now about the adjacent cafe: the next morning, we were skeptical about this cafe. But! The service was great, the food was really good! We were pleasantly surprised. This hotel is worth the low price, I would stay again if necessary. The cafe is better and I would eat there again even if I wasn't staying at the hotel."

"The staff is great! The rooms are clean and breakfast was good. However I booked 2 rooms specifically because they offered indoor pool and jacuzzi and they are closed! There was no information via Expedia or the hotel website. We had no notice that the pool and jacuzzi were not available ( we would have gone somewhere else ) this was a gift for myself , my daughter and her husband and our night was ruined. The front door lady said there was nothing she could do because I booked via a third party( Expedia) so would they have let me cancel without penalty if I’d book through the hotel? It was just very disappointing. "

"This is one of the few hotels in the area. Parking lot was clean, the 2-Queen bed room we rented was clean. It suited are needs but don’t expect extra fluff and frills. Breakfast came with our stay which had options for warm or cold items (sausage links, potatoes, eggs, waffles, yogurt dispenser, granola bars, preserves, cereals, bananas and juices.) we we’re satisfied with our stay and would go back."
