Everything was good with the room from a cleanliness perspective and they were nicely designed. The breakfast was okay and convenient I you wanted a quick and simple bit before heading out. My only complaint was the noise, the rooms aren’t well insulated, we could hear every footstep and voice in the corridor, and we had a door to an adjoined room with other guests which allowed lots of noise the travel between the rooms.

The hotel was fine. There was strong AC. The staff were really nice. My shower was really small and I hit my head a couple of times trying to wash shampoo out of my hair. The bed was tilted which was due to a broken bed frame (I assume). There was a strong smell of mildew that I think came from a piece of rotted wooden trim in the bathroom near the shower. Overall it was ok and felt clean and safe. Just not the best stay I’ve ever had.

We’ve stayed at Hotel Donna Francesca twice - it’s very clean, the staff is very hospitable, the included breakfast delivered to your room is lovely, the hotel is in a great location - yet still manages to be very quiet. The first time we stayed we had a large room for a family. On our more recent stay we had a ‘standard’ room which was very small. Okay for one traveler but tight for two. I’ll stay here again but would choose a larger room. Grazie per tutti!
