There was no reception or anyone to check you in which I was a little worried about. We arrived at the Hotel 1 pm. And there was no one there. We knew this from previous reviews. Receptionist is only there in the morning from 9 am - 10:30 am to answer any questions or concerns. make sure you check your email with special code on how to enter and your room number. Code is used to enter the main front door and the receptionist area where your rooms are on the second floor. check your email!!’ email is very important Otherwise you are left with no way to get in. Our stay was really great. We are a family of 4. We were very comfortable. Our room was very roomy. 1 Double bed and 2 twin size beds . Perfect for our family. Walking distance to everywhere. We thought we would need transportation our farthest tour (the coliseum) but we walked it 25-30 min . Restaurants and shops everywhere. 4 short blocks to Spagna Metro. Spanish steps. Walking distance to TreVi Fountain and Pantheon. Our return flight home was not until much later in the day so once you checked out you were able to leave your luggage by the reception. Visable to other guests staying. Wish they had a separate locked area for luggage storage. Our luggage was fine we left it there for about 4 hours. Taxis by spagna metro . Taxis in abundance by Spagna metro . About 50 euro FCO Airport. Overall very good location. Also accessible to metro and other tourist spots. The facility is clean and quiet. Although, poor WiFi connection in the hotel and not a lot amenities...they don’t have a laundry facility. The room has air conditioner but there was a power outage in the hotel on our second night and no power for about 5 hours. The following morning we had to shower with cold water because there was no hot water. The staff are cordial and helpful but not very friendly.
