9.4/10 Exceptional! (1,773 reviews)
The good: lots of space to stretch out, huge balcony, full kitchen, location is fantastic and right next to lots of restaurants and the art museum, easy parking right across the street and way cheaper than most hotel parking in the city (plus free car charging if you bring your own cord). Right next to a great coffee shop. The bad: the lobby smells like a teenager who spilled cologne on themselves (it's bad, it's just so bad, and we would hold our breath as we ran from the entrance to the elevator, awful terrible smell), the street is SO LOUD at night that it was very difficult to sleep, the furniture is very tired, the beds were incredibly uncomfortable, the sheets like scratchy thin pieces of paper, the towels felt like sandpaper. The carpet in the hallway is very, very cheap and old and stained. The blinds were torn from age. I could really only recommend the hotel if you absolutely need two bedrooms. It's a cool looking apartment, and if they did nothing but replace the cheap mattresses, the awful sheets and towels, and hung up more than 2 paintings in the entire place, it could actually be pretty nice. It wouldn't take much to bump this place up and make it better, but they'd also really need to address the noise somehow.

8/10 Very good! (4 reviews)
The location is fantastic with tons of great restaurants and vintage shops nearby, and the two best parks in the city a short walk, BIXI bike, or bus ride away. The apartment was clean, comfortable, spacious and well appointed. My only small comment is that the building is not at all soundproof and we were woken up one morning by a child next door blowing a whistle at 7am, and another night by the people downstairs talking at 4am. But nothing that ear plugs wouldn’t fix!
