"This hotel has now become a Premier Inn. We booked in March to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We received an email from Premier Inn saying they would honour our booking.
This was not quite the case and we are still waiting to hear from Premier Inn.
Having paid in full through Expedia, was told at reception on booking in that we haven't paid so a credit card was presented and payment taken (again) from that. When we checked out, I had the email confirmation from Expedia which stated it had been...
"Disgusting room with a bathroom that has full on damp running throughout, so bad everything in the whole room was damp and clammy to the touch, beds were dirty and showed stains under a uv light, stayed 4 days and for the price i am shocked anyone would offer this as an option to stay in at 370 quid for 4 days, would not stay here again and would not recommend to anyone until the whole rooms cleaned and the bathroom is fixed, is probably a health hazard as all i could smell was mold"

"This is a modern hotel in an historic house with a fantastic restaurant attached. Not sure if the two are owned by the same group but probably. The check in is all virtual, no hotel staff are on site, and it went smoothly however I did have to step outside to get a decent cellular signal in order to check in. Close to the railway station. Excellent breakfast in the restaurant. Highly recommended!"

They treated us marvelously, were welcoming, and made us feel right at home during our stay. The breakfast was absolutely the best. "House was very clean, perfect for a family vacation. Only complaint, and it’s the fault of renters before us - dishwasher was not turned on and all the garbages were full - obviously they did not follow check out procedure "
"We stayed here as we had a wedding in Troon.
The property was immaculate. We were unaware it was a breakfast at tiffany’s theme but it was an excellent touch and a good discussion point at the wedding. Communication with the rentees was excellent and prompt. The property is situated just off the main street so walking into Prestwick was so easy.
