« Beautiful property and wonderful host. Close property was well maintained and provided beautiful areas for lounging and picnicking. Plenty of room beyond that for exploring and hiking. The host was gracious and spent some time talking to us, however was not invasive at all and afforded us plenty time to ourselves. Really enjoyed the animals and meeting the desert tortoise. 100% will stay again in the future. »

« This property is Nostalgically charming, being of a certain age the decor and style of this home took me directly back to childhood. Views are breathtaking and the spacing in the home gives the independence and comfort that’s required when traveling with family or friends. « Over the hills and through the woods to Grandmother's house we go... or so to speak. We went to visit our children. Both couples met us at this wonderful little home that reminded us all of Grandma's house. It is super cute and even had a Christmas tree that was decorated beautifully. « The house is spacious and comfortable, with updated amenities and a large wooden deck in back. It has excellent heating and air conditioning. The neighborhood is semi-rural but is only a five or ten minute drive to stores and restaurants. We occasionally saw deer out the kitchen window. We enjoyed frequent walks on the nearby El Dorado Trail, a combined biking and walking trail that goes for miles in the Placerville area. »

« This was a little piece of heaven. We were in the area for a family members wedding. The house acted as a meeting spot for family to tuch basis and plan. It was nice and quiet, with beautifully lit pathways and ample outside areas to relax. The decorations in the home were done with care for detail. I highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing weekend getaway, or vacation rental. It won't disappoint. 👍😊 »

It has absolutely everything you need for cooking, showering, sleeping, laundry and relaxing. The TV and Internet are great and the couch is so comfortable for watching.
