« I didn’t actually have any contact with the property manager due to being offsite pretty much all day and gone early in the morning. Check in was super easy and just showed up at the site. I didn’t get to explore the property due to the fire ban and restrictions on accessing the woods. View just down the road from the site was spectacular and would recommend driving down before the end of your stay. RV was clean. A bit tight, but that is to be expected. « Stayed 4 night in Sep/Oct 2025. Lovely setting on a river. Unfortunately there was a fire ban so could not use the fire pit. The cottage is small but great for 2 people and a medium sized dog. Good size yard for the dog to wander (not fenced) and several walking trails right there. Note that you can't drink the tap drink but the host provided bottled water. Because water is trucked in, showers and laundry are limited. It did not affect our stay. Note that internet in the area, as well as a good...

« Our stay was simply perfect!We were with our 3 children to explore Cape Breton.The mountain view front the front porch is priceless, and we started each day with our coffee looking at the scenery and listening to the cicadas.Everybody loved reading and lounging in the hammock…We enjoyed playing frisbee and running around in the large fields in front of the cabins.The emplacement was perfect for us: We visited from Chéticamp to Baddeck, and many places in between. « Our stay was fantastic! The home is beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped, our family of four had plenty of room to relax. The location is perfect, right between Belle Côte and Chéticamp, with incredible cliffside views. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean and waking up to the water view was absolutely unforgettable. The host was wonderful and very helpful, and check-in was simple and seamless. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! »

« A wonderful stay! This property is a home away from home. Having stayed at many vacation rentals over many years, I can confidently say that this is a stay not to be missed. The property is as advertised and the extra touches are so appreciated. Just a heads up that the bathtub is 2/3rds size of a normal tub so unless you are a petite adult you will not get a comfortable soak. If you have children that need a bath, this would be perfect. "Our stay was simply perfect!We were with our 3 children to explore Cape Breton.The mountain view front the front porch is priceless, and we started each day with our coffee looking at the scenery and listening to the cicadas.Everybody loved reading and lounging in the hammock…We enjoyed playing frisbee and running around in the large fields in front of the cabins.The emplacement was perfect for us: We visited from Chéticamp to Baddeck, and many places in between. There are lots of lovely beaches and little towns to explore!The cabin is very clean and well equipped, and we really appreciated the A/C considering the heat wave going on!All in all, excellent spot, very confortable cabin, we would definitely come here again or recommend the spot to friends and family!"
