To start with Orbitz or Expedia should be ashamed to advertise it as 4 star resort. The place is in desperate need of remodeling, like 20 years ago. The rooms are small with outdated furniture, our bathroom door handle was broken, the walls are tiny and you can hear anything in the room next to yours. Also, don’t make mistake of staying close to ice machine - the pilgrimage to that one starts from early morning till late at night and you can hear it all. Additionally, With exception of morning hours and unless you’re staying on the gulf side you’re unwilling victim of loud bass pounding coming from the loudspeakers on the pool side. Stay careful with those chairs near the pool - my wife sat on one without putting towel on it first and got allergic reaction. There was a dead cockroach drifting around the pool- I got curious if someone would come to clean it before doing it myself after 2days. Honestly the only reason this place still functioning is their amazing staff- I can say nothing but nice things about them after my interaction with front desk, cleaning and kitchen folks- they are all amazing! Also their restaurant food is pretty good - we liked it much more than in a couple other places we ate during our stay.
