En plus du centre commercial Les Halles, du Centre Pompidou (et des bureaux de Lodgis !) il y a des visites plus insolites à faire à petits prix dans le quartier comme par exemple La Tour Jean-sans-Peur juste à côté de la station de métro Étienne Marcel ou encore Le Mur Végétal de la rue d’Aboukir. Bien qu’il n’y ait pas de jardins dans le 2ème arrondissement, vous pourrez visiter ce mur vert pour profiter d’un peu de nature. Il est couvert par 7500 plantes de 250 espèces. Laundromat and grocery store also nearby which was great. It was handy to have a kitchen, but need to supply your own dishwashing up liquid and cleaning sponges etc, which was unexpected. The apartment was clean, but the shower was terrible. The drain was blocked so water overflowed onto the floor. Owner was advised that this needed to be fixed. The bed is up steep stairs in a loft, so access could be difficult for some people, and the roof in the loft is low, so you can’t stand up properly. Bed was very comfortable though. Communication from the owner is very good and they let us drop our bags off early which was much appreciated. Overall, cosy apartment and great location.
