"Such a beautiful, charming house and such friendly hosts. Everything was made easy for us. The bedroom was decorated in shades of soft white with pale blue lamps and blankets. Very comfortable beds too. We had drinks outside on the deck and had dinner while a really good live band played from 5till 8 pm. Then slept right through the thunderstorm at 10 and awoke to another sunny day. Perfect. "

"We had a lovely weekend stay at this property to celebrate our anniversary. The premises are impeccable and beautifully appointed inside and out. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating ensuring that guests have everything they need. Check in was a breeze and we were welcomed with the scent of freshly baked cookies! They went so far as setting up a bonfire for us one evening in their lovely waterfront setting and providing us with the ingredients to make s’mores as we watched the sunset. We stayed in a king room that was immaculately clean, very comfortable bed and bedding, with beautiful waterfront views and an ensuite. The room is kept at a comfortable temperature and there is A/C. While there were other guests staying as well, you would never know it because the property is very well constructed and quiet. Breakfast was truly outstanding both mornings. This was a feast of top quality ingredients, including homemade scones, an abundance of fresh fruit, and options for waffles and egg dishes, all beautifully presented and delicious. There were numerous options to accommodate any dietary needs, The hosts are fantastic chefs and we were fuelled for our day of sightseeing and shopping afterwards! Thank you so much for welcoming us into your beautiful home. We would not hesitate to recommend this place and we will be back again for sure! "

"Great cottage to relax with friends. The Cottage was in great shape and clean, but could use a good deep cleaning in certain areas. The dock and waterfront areas are amazing. The Sauna heats up quickly, but only fits 2-3 adults comfortably. Overall a great cottage and will definitely be looking to book again in the future!"

"Our first off grid long weekend was absolutely beautiful! The cottage is cozy with fabulous amenities. The towels soft and fluffy, beds comfy, a wonderful greeting basket complete with a bottle of red! Even the fire pit was stocked! No problem with the fridge and we bought a camp stove toaster to make toast on the propane stove which we left for future guests. I used my hair dryer with no issue and never ran out of power. The description was spot on as well as the photos. The weekend did not disappoint at all! Hint, we brought battery operated lamps and votives which lit up the cottage at night giving a lovely ambiance. My cell phone provided music that I had downloaded while playing cards. The stars at night are incredible with no light pollution from towns or other cottages. Beautiful little cottage to get away from it all!"

"Great location in Westport and our dog Peanut was welcome. Since I'm tall, I did have a problem with the low doorway into the main bedroom. The TV in the main bedroom was a welcome addition since our last stay here."

"My family's weekend stay at this cottage was wonderful. The property has everything you could ask for, and the children loved the outdoor playground, and getting out on the lake. It didn't hurt to wake up in the morning to that gorgeous view, either! Our only regret was that we hadn't booked a longer stay - would definitely return for another visit!"
