The genuine warmth of the lobby managers, front dest and kitchen staff. Breakfast offers seasonal AND local produce, with Liiko's "homemade" items. All taste fresh, high quality and delicious. This review would be a remiss if I did not mention the gorgeous private, large and impeccably manicured garden, where 2 ducks call their permanent home. There are also 3 well behaved kitties on site and cared for by the hotel staff, whom you may see lounging around living their best lives. I will definitely come back, as this is my choice of stay when in Hualien/Taroko.
