Prebook your entrance directly with the Château. The crowds and line ups are huge even in off season. Go early and plan to spend the day. The gardens and fountains are well worth the walk.Disappointed that the exhibits were coated in dust. Not like me but wanted so badly to clean everything.

Get a prepaid ticket with the earliest time available. Be ready to walk, the gardens are huge and definitely worth the walk. Ate a wonderful lunch at La Petit Venise right on the property. Great service and food and not too expensive either. Spend the day. Check out the petit Trianon as well as Le Grand Trianon.
