"Great location, overlooking Notre Dame"
The hotel is charming and the staff very helpful. The location is excellent. The rooms are small and the hotel lobby is on the second floor (aka first floor in France) so bags must be carried up to lobby. From there, the elevator is very small to upper rooms. Not a big deal but just a useful piece of information.

"Charming boutique hotel in an excellent location"
Apostrophe is a lovely boutique hotel in an excellent location in the Montparnasse part of Paris. The staff is extremely friendly and gave excellent advice. We stayed here for four nights, and walked from the hotel to the famous sights along the Seine including Notre Dame, he Leuvre, the Orsay, and the Eiffel Towel. A shorter walk gets you to the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens or to the Port-Royal RER train station. Our room was small and comfortable, and the hydromassage shower cleaned and soothed after every day out on the town. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the lively neighborhood, and the hotel is located on a quite side street so every night was restful. We would return to the Apostrophe without hesitation.

Outstanding stay. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, the staff was warm and welcoming. They made every effort to ensure our stay was a pleasurable one. I have never encountered such hospitality. Camille-Marie needs special recognition as she was always helpful and looking to that extra mile. She was even able to arrange last minute dinner reservations for my wife's birthday at a restaurant that was completely booked. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Paris

"Great location, clean rooms, no real amenities"
We liked the hotel a lot because of the location and value Rooms were very clean but very small. The first room we were in had a toilet closet right at the head of the bed- the premier double has a much nicer set up. We moved to the Jr. suite which was perfect for my 21 y.o. Son and me. We didn't have breakfast there as there were so many places to go nearby that were more appealing. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. This is a cozy spot but not luxurious in its amenities/appointments but is has a nice quirky character

"Magical Jewel Box."
This was our fourth visit and knew to expect perfection, still everything seemed even better. Front desk more personal. Staff knew our names even with movie stars staying there at the same time (Ben and Jen). Food excellent. Lobby reminds me of the inside of a velvet jewelry box. Outside reminds me of Chateau Villandry. Exceptionally kind bellman. (Think his name was Antoine?)

"Nice hotel walking distance to the Louvre"
The staff at the Castille were fantastic. Very friendly on check in and helpful through the stay. They have a nice seating area in the lobby and the staff, noticing that my mother was quite tired from our journey, brought her fresh/cold water and told us not to rush during check in. There's a friendly cat that hangs around the lobby. Nice touch but make sure you bring antihistamines if you are allergic. It was impossible not to pet her. One issue they had was the bathroom sink. I noticed it was leaking considerably. It would be impossible to miss (I had to throw a towel down after washing my hands)... So either the cleaning staff weren't cleaning the sink? Or the previous occupants of the room somehow didn't notice? Anyway, I called the front counter and a maintenance person arrived within five minutes and fixed it right away. Good service. I stayed only one night but thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was impeccably clean and well appointed. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was good but a bit expensive. I also found the hotel staff were a bit hesitant to suggest good restaurants in the area for breakfast instead saying we should stay at the hotel to eat the buffet which was very expensive.

Paris earned its famous nickname because it was one of the first cities to embrace gas streetlights—in the 1860s, some 56,000 lamps illuminated the streets.

Don’t just visit the typical Parisian tourist destinations. The Eiffel Tower is on everyone’s list; why not try something a little different? Visit the Ile aux Cygnes, located in the Seine River, and check out a secret on one end of its forested walkway: a 22-metre replica of the Statue of Liberty. As a bonus, you can actually see the Eiffel Tower just behind Lady Liberty. For some additional exciting adventures, make your way to the Hippodrome at the Parc de Vincennes. If you’re visiting during racing season, you’ll witness that rarest of all things: turf-trotting races. Place a modest wager or just cheer on the horse with the best name and see how you do.

The best boutique hotels in Paris are perfect complements to the city itself. Enjoy one-off decorations and designer bath accessories, or relax in a lounge adorned in colourful glass light fixtures. It’s entirely possible you’ll never want to leave your hotel, even if it’s to explore the myriad of restaurants and pubs in the Latin Quarter.

Know what else you can explore? The great rates Expedia.ca offers on all your destinations. When you’re ready to see the City of Light up close and personal, we’ll get you the cheapest deals on hotels in Paris. Keep some money in your pocket instead of forked over for your accommodations: you’ll need it in the Latin Quarter.
