Chelsea Hotel, Toronto
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed our stay at The Chelsea. It’s very close to the Sankofa square, only two blocks or so. Plenty of restaurants to explore within walking distance. Would definitely stay again. Fun fact(per our tour guide)it’s the largest hotel in Toronto. Elevators are separated to avoid congestion and extended waits. There was a long line of people waiting to check-in at the front desk. We used the self check-in kiosk, I absolutely loved it. It printed our keys, we checked in in less than 3 minutes. They had several, these were totally under utilized. Every interaction we had with staff was AMAZING. They were all very helpful, friendly and professional. They walked us out the door and pointed us in the right direction. We took an Uber to the Distillery, probably could have walked (30 min stroll). From there we walked to the CN tower and the Ripley’s aquarium. We did pass the hockey arena during our walk. There is a kitchenette in the room. The only issues with the room Was the air conditioning didn’t cool. The room was a little tight but not terribly so, 2 large suitcases did fit in the closet but we had to leave the carry-on’s out. The bathroom is small. Would definitely stay here again."
Fairmont Royal York

"I could not have been more pleased with my stay at the Fairmont Royal York. The room and bathroom were spotless. I had the best sleep I have ever had in a hotel on the bed in the room. The pillows and mattress were beyond comfy! I was absolutely blown away by the hotel gym. There was such a great selection of machines, free weights and even a Stairmaster! The stay was worth the price."

"Excellent hotel. Parking was a concern but it was easy. Parked in the lot across the street. Breakfast was really good with lots of variety. Would definitely recommend."
