"Everything was fantastic"

"We loved our stay and the location—it was very convenient. However, the cleanliness could be improved. The space did not feel fully cleaned upon arrival, and we found personal items left behind. Towels were stored near a plunger, so we rewashed them. We also wanted to wash the bedding and found that the dryer did not dry in a timely manner.One of our guests spent a couple of hours cleaning the tubs. With more thorough cleaning between guests, this place would be much more enjoyable.Additionally, all hand soaps were nearly empty, and the shampoo, conditioner, and body soap appeared to be left from previous guests.Communication with the rental host was appreciated, though there was a moment involving sharing a neighbor’s door code that made us uncomfortable.Overall, the location is great, but improved cleaning and attention to guest comfort would make a big difference."

"This is our second stay in this property and our fourth stay with Host Ted. The kitchen is well equipped to host family gatherings during the holidays and there is plenty of beds for all guests. We had wonderful weather and enjoyed watching dolphins almost daily. Restaurants and grocery stores are within walking distance. Ted is extremely responsive and made certain we had baby gates, and high chairs and pack-n-plays for 2 babies. We would recommend staying in this home. "

"There is nothing better than being together with the whole family. We loved being together in one home. There were a couple of issues with the heat (not often needed at the beach) as well as the pool and hot tub. Ted always answered my calls and texts and was very prompt to provide support and send over technicians. "

"Catie’s Cove in Surf City, NC was the perfect getaway for my family and me. Our host was an excellent communicator, making everything smooth and easy. The house was spotless, well maintained, and sits right on the beach with beautiful ocean views. Each morning, I loved relaxing on the porch with my coffee while watching the sunrise. The beach was very clean and well cared for, perfect for long walks. The location is ideal—within walking distance to the pier, Daddy Mac’s (a great beachfront restaurant), the bridge, a hamburger and hot dog spot, a taco place, and several donut and ice cream shops. Truly the perfect beach escape."
