Prepare to find a serene, quiet place that is physically separate from the busy little village of Angel Fire. The location itself is stellar in so many ways. Web posted pictures do not do it justice. Views are gorgeous. Location is surrounded by trees. Plan to experience incredible peace and quiet. Cabin is more of a chalet. Ceilings are magnificent. Beautiful log construction...

« This home exceeded our expectations. Loved the views of the mountains and the hills as well as having deer come up to the home. The home was very clean and stocked with yummy coffees and some chocolate candy. The home had everything we needed. The Host, Donald, was very communicative and made the whole process easy and efficient. The kids loved having their own rooms. Great location and easy access to Ruidoso. We would absolutely stay here again! »

« Amazing place, considering how it was designed and built. The house is outside the ski boundary, so not a true ski in ski out; u will walk .15 miles to get to the Heading Home run. One downside: Bedroom 4 is accessed either by walking through bedroom 3 or by a staircase that requires u to exit the house and re-enter from another exterior door. The main staircase (not in the pix) going upstairs is a tight spiral staircase that could be a challenge for some.Wildlife is eager to check you out! »

« Shortly after arriving we found the master tub leaked into the first floor bedroom and couldn’t be used. This was a main factor for choosing the property and we couldn’t use it. A table was broken upon arrival and the heat stopped working overnight on 30 December.
