"The hot spring bath was excellent; however, it was inconvenient that there was no hook to hold the shower head, and it was disappointing that there was an ammonia-like odor in the bathroom. The sleeping spaces other than the main bedroom were not very functional. On the other hand, the kitchen appliances and tableware were all new and in good condition."

"The special rooms with open air baths overlooking the river are awesome at night and in the morning. Food is good, and it is across the street from Nikko Toshogu, and down the street from the Shinko bridge. There isn’t much to do around at night but then again you are supposed to enjoy the baths and relax"

"Great hotel! Beautiful view from the room! It is a bit of a walk from Nikko which can be lovely after eating way too much food for dinner. Taxis are fairly inexpensive back-and-forth. When I stayed, there was a food truck that showed up for breakfast and dinner options, this was fantastic! The quality of the food was really high. I didn’t try any of the food from the little store that they have on site, but the pizza did smell good. The laundry machines were always busy, so that’s something to be aware of. I would definitely stay again."
