"The location is excellent - walking distance to shopping, the Charles River, and great restaurants. The rooms at citizenM are always comfortable, and the living room at this one (Boston Back Bay) was so lively. It was great to hang out there during some down time after a busy day of exploring."

"We had an amazing stay at The Verb Hotel in Boston! From the moment we arrived, the vibe was fun, welcoming, and totally unique. The music-themed decor really sets it apart—every detail feels thoughtfully curated, and it creates such a cool atmosphere you won’t find at a typical hotel. Received a free room upgrade to one of the backstage trailers! It was spotless, comfortable, and well-designed. My husband especially loved the record player and vinyl collection—it was such a fun touch that made the experience feel personal and memorable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Overall, The Verb Hotel exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for something stylish, lively, and a little different, this is definitely the place to stay in Boston."

"I was allowed to check in early. The staff member told me that I should really tip the housekeeper because she cleaned a room fast for me. When I got to the room the only part that had been cleaned was the bathroom. The bed was dirty and clearly slept in, the trashes had not been taken out and there were crumbs all over the desk. Called the front desk and was told they would send someone up, an hour later no one had shown so I called down again and the staff member gave me attitude about how the hotel is sold out and it’s busy. By the time I left and came back at night still no one had come to clean the room. "

"This is one of the more confusing hotels. Taking the elevator in the lobby to the second floor means you take the elevator down not up because the lobby is technically the 4th floor. Staff was great, hotel room is not very convenient. Shocked at how small the bathroom was. And balcony had a view of the Charles river but it was blocked by an outdoor tent so sitting on the balcony was useless. Not a great stay "
