« Wow was blown away by this accommodation. Set next to a lovely park that our kids absolutely loved, we booked into the top 2 bed flat with amazing decor, compact kitchen that feels superbly spacious. From automatic gate, to coded entry, this apartment is what modern staycations are all about. Oh and did I highlight the amazing host who let us back in after checkout for the kids to use the bathroom before our long 5 hour drive? It is the small things really! « This place had some lovely little touches to it, from the trolly cart to ferry our belongings to a receiving a welcome letter from Charlie. We had a lovely couple of days here. Spent time in the hot tub and the evenings by the fire pit after having a lovely BBQ. There were kids in the fields behind paying foot ball in what must have been their back garden which that's perfectly fine but i think the swearing shocked us a little bit. However that said we still had a lovely time. Felt sad...

We were just a short walk down from Colchester Castle and High Street, where we could find a wide range of pubs, restaurants, and shops. The city centre train station was just a short walk away as well. Thank you to our host for the awesome check-in and also for the lift to the "other" train station for our trip back into London.
