"It was horrible! Don't trust the online pics or the list of amenities they supposedly have. Cabins are the worst, we rented 5 in our group for a family reunion & all were horrible. We all ended up staying at a ranch half hour away & losing our paid reservation but they really could care less!The getaway cabin which was supposed to be nice, had sewer problems & the smell was gaging! They will tell you its the well water to just run hot water & not only does this not work, you end up with cold...

"Staff was great, friendly, and kind. I cant complain. And to my surprise, they had fountain drinks and popcorn, which was perfect. Enjoyed complimentary breakfast annnnnd dinner. That in itself deserves 5 stars. Overall, great stay. I would return back."

"Breakfast was nothing to be excited about. The hot water container was used previously for coffee as it it black flecks in the water and made the tea taste like coffee. None of the food was warm and we went when they first opened on 10/26. Also the oatmeal had about 1.5" of water sitting on the top. The only part of our stay that was disappointing."

"We stayed at Wild Oak Ranch for four days in late October whilst visiting rour son at Trinity University about 25 mins away. It was a nice change from a standard hotel. The villa was excellent, very clean, well equipped and the washer & tumble dryer were useful. Nice spa bath and big bathroom. We used the pool, lazy river, gym and played pickle ball, all great and never too busy. We didn’t use the fire pits or bbqs, but seemed like a nice touch. Perhaps the only disappointing thing was the bar/restaurant. It would have been nice to have a more relaxing f&b offering, more in keeping with the lobby feel. It was great for a short stay and as it wasn’t the main focus of our vacation we really enjoyed our visit."
