Along with all the qualities of the house, Susan has always made herself available and helpful whenever we've needed anything. We love coming to Mentone and Rest Easy makes it even better. "We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was the perfect escape from reality. From the moment we walked in, we could tell how much care goes into this cabin. Everything was spotless, welcoming, and so thoughtfully prepared for us.The views are incredible. We loved starting our mornings looking out the windows from the bed or sitting on the patio with coffee. Our afternoons were spent exploring and hiking nearby, and our evenings were shared under the stars relaxing in the hot tub. The copper tub even had us joking about doing a bathroom remodel at home!Our almost 11-year-old border collie, Tux, felt right at home too. We set his bed up in front of the fireplace and he happily kept watch over us and joined in on our little adventures.Thank you a million times over for such an amazing stay and memories that will last a lifetime. "Valley view from both inside and the yard was wonderful. Very quiet location. Kitchen is well appointed (needs a new toaster) but a bit cramped for food prep space. Overall it is a delightful mountain cabin."
