We forgot to mention it to the owner though. The property has two gates to go through before reaching your lodging so we were not terribly concerned about our belongings. "

"We loved our stay at the Meyer Hotel. It’s very antique vibe and it’s so cute. We had amazing 24/7 communication via text. It’s the perfect place to relax. Only about 30 minutes from Fredericksburg for food and 30/45 from San Antonio. I will be coming back! We relaxed watching the deer in the evening. The only thing was the fire wasn’t wanting to stay on but other than that it felt VERY safe. I know the town can look very outdated and scary to some but we felt very homey and safe with our car parked on the road. "
