It’s a great location for a nice quiet getaway. Fantastic birding and long walks. Very easy to get to Garner State Park to hang out in the river. The cabin is clean and spacious and well equipped. The only heads up I would give is that the stairs to the two beds on top are steep, so be prepared for that. The cabin was fully equipped to meet our needs, even with an infant in tow. We loved having evening fires near the river. We unfortunately had some car trouble and then locked ourselves out of the cabin. Tracey immediately came to let us in and even offered to pick my husband up from Uvalde if needed.
