Cottage by the River ~ Sunrise Suite

Circa 1924, this cottage sits on the riverbanks of the beautiful Guadalupe River right downtown Kerrville, with immediate access to Kerrville's top attractions. Located right across the street from the Kerrville Nature Center, guests are steps away from the Kerrville River Trail, walking distance to top restaurants including Grape Juice, Thai Ocha, Francisco's, and Yeo Bo's, as well as several shopping boutiques, antique stores, and Pax Coffee & Goods. Spend the day kayaking, paddle-boarding, biking, fishing, swimming, or exploring Kerrville's parks, museums, and golf courses. Or, take a short 30 minute drive to Fredericksburg, Comfort (an antique town), Bandera (the "Cowboy Capital of the World"), or Lost Maples State Park. Road noise

All three units were nicely furnished, clean and kitchens well equipped. It would be nice to have foil or saran wrap and/or cooking spray. Road noise on one unit was bad. There are fans for white noise. Host were very responsive and charged an additional cleaning fee for moving.

Wonderful cottage and excellent location!

We absolutely loved this property and the location was perfect for us. We love to walk and run. The river trail was right across the street and it was great. We also enjoyed the amenities provided. Relaxing stay on the river

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sunrise Suite. This oasis within Kerrville truly is close to everything you may want for stores while feeling like you are out in nature. During our stay we were the only ones on the property which made it nice a secluded. We enjoyed watching the deer, ducks, squirrels and turtles on the property as well as walking across the street to enjoy access to the river front trails. The suite was very clean, and the kitchen had all the necessary items for preparing food. We would highly recommend this cottage.

Absolute Gem of a location!

What a great place to stay, in a great location. We loved staying here. The sunrise suite was perfect for our Eclipse trip, and the amenities were fantastic. Highly recommend this cottage if you are staying in Kerrville!

Perfect Hill Country Work/Vacay

Cottage By The River was a perfect location for me. The cottage is conveniently located right on the Guadalupe River and the Texas Walking Trail. I work from home so WiFi is important to me and it worked well for my entire stay. Kerrville is also convenient located to Hunt, TX and the summer camps and Fredericksburg and Luckenbach. A great way to get a taste of the Texas Hill Country food, fun and music scene. I will definitely be staying again in the Sunrise Suite!

Sunrise Suite stay was great

My wife and I stayed in the Sunrise Suite in Kerrville for 3 nights. Everything went very smooth from booking to check-in. The property was exactly as described. We enjoyed a peaceful stay. Used the fire-pit down by the river for 2 of the nights. That was a fantastic amenity and they provided plenty of wood. The suite was very clean and comfortable. Very welcoming host.

JT and Trissa are excellent hosts! They were more than willing to work out an option accommodating our special needs during our last-minute add-ons as a result of Christmas. The property is centrally located in Kerrville with backyard access to the Guadalupe River. The sunrise every morning was superb. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch and eating a late brunch. The common laundry facilities are well stocked and take one hassle out of packing for a holiday here. I highly recommend this rental when in the area for a holiday.

Great Cottage by the Guadalupe

My husband and I are in are early 60s. We stayed in the Sunrise Cottage and had a wonderful time. We stayed for 4 nights. The cottage itself is very well thought out and perfect for two people. It feels very private which we had some concern about because it is connected to the main house. The cottage has a private porch and there are multiple outside areas to enjoy. It is just across the road from the walking/biking trails on the Guadalupe. We enjoyed cool morning bike rides. It is very close to restaurants near downtown Kerrville.

Charming Cottage

We had a wonderful stay at the Cottage by the River. It was so close to wonderful walking trails. The Cottage itself was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend the cottage and plan to stay there again the next time we go to Kerrville.

Cozy Cottage

We had a wonderful time this weekend in Kerville. A huge part of that was the beautiful cottage we stayed in. The communication with the owner was seamless. The house was perfectly clean and had every amenity you could want and more. It was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. I would absolutely recommend as well as stay there again!

A wonderful get away spot.

Just a beautiful setting and a lovely clean and inviting cottage. Not a negative thing to say. Spacious and beautifully decorated with all the amenities you will need. Overlooking the river, next to the incredible river trail for walking, jogging or biking for miles. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Kerrville. Thank you!
