"Room was not very clean. Found trash around one of the night stands when I was looking for the reason the night stand lamps and clock wasn’t working. Found out they weren’t plugged in. So, I plugged those in behind the mattress, nothing. Tried the switches on the wall. Nothing. So then I plugged them into a long extension cord that plugged into ANOTHER outlet on the same wall. Nothing! Two switches at the entryway did nothing. That’s when I noticed the electrical conduit coming out of the ceiling from somewhere else to power the TV, fridge, two lamps, and a power strip. The duvet cover was soiled with something white in drip pattern. The bathtub drained extremely slow. The stairwell strongly smelled of marijuana often. The back door that requires a key card doesn’t close. The breakfast wasn’t. If waffles are the only thing you want to eat, then you’ll be fine. My key card stopped working on my second day. Two attempts (two trips to the front desk) didn’t correct it. Finally fixed with management coming up with the “special key”. The laundry detergent vending machine didn’t operate. The room across the hall had set all of their trash outside their room, it sat there for a day and a half until it was finally removed. The blinds and curtains were broken! Oh! And, when I checked in there was a sign saying to go next door to the Red Roof Inn for assistance. Met that clerk halfway there. The property was not kept up. If they offer room 229, don’t take it!"

"Expectations were low given the price point. The main areas were well maintained but the rooms were musty and there were no power outlets available to plug in anywhere near the bed. There were overseas outlets and the front desk didn't have any adapters or other solutions. The wi-fi wasn't working for most of our stay and the breakfast wasn't great. It could have been better. "

"We had a great stay! The staff were friendly throughout and helpful. It’s conveniently near Busch Gardens and Jamestown!"

"One gets what one pays for. Property certainly shows its age. Staff members were nice. Coffee available in lobby 24 hrs but is cooking the entire time and taste shows it. No facial tissues even though bathroom vanity had space for a box. Inside security door lock broken. Security cameras were plentiful and added a sense of safety. No smoking on premises was a plus."

"There were multiple stains in the room’s floor, mold in the corner of the bathtub, no soap or tissues in the bathroom (I was able to ask for soap and they gave me 2 bars) and it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. While it didn’t smell like someone had directly smoked in the room, I could smell it in the room. I asked if the room beside mine (I was in 111) was a smoking room and was told yes. Must be coming in through the vents. Had to ask for WiFi and was given a code, and checkout was simply giving back the key. Nothing formal. Pretty unpleasant and disappointing stay, but I just needed a place to sleep for the night. Would definitely advise steering clear of The Crown Inn. "

"First thing that I notice when checking in the evening they only had one staff person working the front desk, the Nice Black staff manager was very kind when I asked to see the room. He told me that he could show me another room after 3 room look at Red roof Inn , the I settle for the Comfort Inn but , the rooms had mold in some of them , bad smell in one on them. But over the staff in the evening was much kind then the staff in the morning. I had to shorten my stay because the room wasn’t very comfortable. Only stayed one night . The Staffing in the morning asked why I would stay the whole time. I was just honest with her that the rooms had mold in it rooms . Overall it was very good condition but it’s low end hotel, motel , "

"Very nice home close to the beach. There are lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance as well. We enjoyed coffee on the porch in the mornings and the kids loved all the beach time. "
