Great breakfast !Friendly staff ! Don’t stay in room over kitchen !! Can hear all kitchen noise early as they are making breakfast . Also a trip hazard between room and bathroom! I fell there😒We were moved to the monument Grand room ! Absolutely stunning large room with a fireplace! Request that one if you can! No elevators so be prepared to carry your luggage upstairs . Unfortunately, we had very early destinations so unable to enjoy the incredible breakfasts that are served. We loved our stay at the Hornsby House. Staff member Kat was exceptional. Helping us throughout our stay. The breakfast was wonderful with a variety each morning. We especially enjoyed meeting new people each day as we sat around the breakfast table sharing stories and experiences. The rooms are clean and comfortable. After reading the reviews and experiencing staying here myself I can’t say enough good things! The Hornsby Inn is so quaint, clean, and gave us such a personable experience. The breakfast was amazing and so was the view. The Inn is surrounded by so much history and near the water with a nice area of shops and restaurants. This was an excellent stay. Due to the heat wave our room was upgraded at no charge to a cooler more spacious room. Breakfast was very tasty and the service was very caring. At breakfast we were greeted by the owner himself David Hornsby. He gave us a historical telling of the Hornsby House along with historical facts of the area with respect to the Revolutionary War. It was wonderful.
