This is an excellent location for birdwatchers who want to be close to Kiptopeke and the wildlife refuge. Even though it is on a noisy highway, it is surprisingly quiet at night.

The hotel and campground were well staffed and taken care of. They were also very accommodating to all of our needs. It would have been nice to have a shuttle from the hotel to the beach and the food prices were a little high at the restaurant.

Loved the property! A beautiful sunset viewed from the hammocks. Staff was helpful and friendly. The beach was a big draw for us and the pool was clean and refreshing, offering water depths for all ages. The Jack Spot Grill offered great food and outdoor dining. Exactly what my sister and I wanted, for a little get-away.
