"This was a lovely old charming house in a great location—lots of space and a nice garden. One of the bedrooms and bathrooms is located on the basement/garden level and has some sewage-like odor, so sleeping in that space did not work out for us. The house was otherwise very convenient but hot since no AC was available. "Our main criteria when booking for 4 couples was 4 en-suite double rooms. This house offered so much more. The location was excellent for getting around. It is only one stop from Trinidade station, which is a main transfer hub and has lines to and from the airport. Trinidad’s is walkable in about 7 minutes. The house had all the amenities we needed for a long weekend and we liked the sheltered outdoor area, where we ate breakfast. The bathrooms were all good with decent showers too. Keypad entry...

"There's much to like about The Yellow House, with one major exception. The bed is quite comfortable, and while smallish, the quarters are comfortable as well. Wifi worked very well, and the patio is a huge plus, for relaxing in the sun (I smoke the occasional cigar, so it was very welcome. It's also very quiet except for the occasional- as in not very often- barking of the two dogs next door. They're pretty cool pooches, so it was not a problem.
