« This was the perfect spot for a winter family weekend. Two hour drive for those of us coming from Ottawa and 3 hours for those from Hamilton. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. It was nice that there was a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. It allowed everyone to have their own space. The kitchen was well equipped, although we would have preferred a regular coffee maker, we brought coffee, but not Kreurig pods and not everyone got coffee on the last day. « We found Stoco Lake Lodge very last minute. We were pleasantly surprised. The redort was clean quiet with excetional staff. Oaklys pub at the redort has good food and a great patio. « This house is in progress, there is some renovations going on that might incomodate some people. We were not. Jim told us all about the little house by the hill, and I couldn't possibly think of a more helping and friendly owner. If you're used to perfects hotels, it is maybe not what you're looking for, but if you can deal with some imperfections, than you will have a great time in this spot for a very reasonably price and not very far from where you want to go. »

« This beautiful well kept, organized and clean cottage was a nice break away from the city! The view to the lake was calming. Loved the flowers, selection of tree's and the spacious piece of land for our dogs to run around safely. Loved the option of propane and charcoal BBQ.
