They aren't kidding when they say this is the largest department store in the world. Directory isn't very clear on what is on each level. You can easily get confused and lost in this behemoth of retail shopping heaven.

It's huge! Sales are great when they occur and add to the shopping experience.
Go up escalators to 7th floor to see ride the wooden escalator built in 1920-1930's. If take elevators you will miss it!

It was WAY TOO CROWDED at Macy's... had to wait 15 minutes to try a pair of shoes on so I left.
Truly an experience--just to say you were there! Be sure to ride the escalators right to the top floor! There is so much history in the building!!
