"Ouray is beautiful. This is our second trip to the town, but first at River’s Edge. John, the owner greeted us cordially, checked us in and walked us to his beautiful garden/yard to show us our room. Bed was comfy. But the VIEWS from our room and shared balcony (no elevators, but only 2 floors. We chose 2nd because of the better view. The gardens were immaculate, a patio and fire pit with several tables around it. The huge hanging baskets of some of the most beautiful petunias I’ve seen. Iris and daisies along driveway and river’s edge. Now, it’s not perfect, but perfect for our stay. The room was small but big enough. Who wants to stay inside. Our room looks just like it’s picture online. "

Our Stay in Ouray

"This family run operation was spectacular. Jeremy who checked us in, was extremely helpful and very kind. The cleaning crew were a well oiled machine and had the same friendly and welcoming attitude as well. The grounds were immaculate and they were constantly cleaning the grounds and beautifying it with baskets of colorful flowers. Everyone worked as a team, whether it was the owner, manager, or help staff. They were available and always ready to answer our questions about the beautiful town of Ouray, whether it was about restaurants, shops, outdoor adventures like hiking or the via feratta. We highly recommend staying here when you visit Ouray. The rooms were quant, comfortable, and decorated tastefully with pictures of Ouray, making the room feel like an extension of this lovely town and its lovely people. "
