"First time staying here. Pretty nice place, getting dated and a little beat up. The bistro was great!!! Hopefully, the Marriott is smart enough to hang on to that staff! Plenty of restaurants close by, but who wants to get back into a vehicle to go somewhere. I’m too lazy and fat to want to walk anyplace, but for most folks there are restaurants within walking distance"

"The rooms were large. They were a bit outdated and in need of minor repairs. Beds were comfortable. Hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles and potatoes was available for free."

"We were at the property for two nights. When we got our room it didn’t appear that the a/c was working very well. I turned it down as we like a cold room as we sleep. I could tell it wasn’t getting any cooler but it was late at night so we stayed in the room until morning. When we got up I went down to the front desk and explained the situation. The person at the front desk suggested something I could try to see if the issue could be resolved. I did what he said and we left for a couple hours. Came back and it still wasn’t working right. So I went back to the front desk and requested another room for the second night and they cheerfully helped get us into another room. Besides the a/c issue the place was great. Rooms were clean. The property was well kept. The breakfast was above average."
