"It was our first time to the Keys, and it served as a great spot to venture out from. Very comfortable rooms. The only issue we had was that the pool was being renovated, so check on that, if a pool is your deciding factor."

This resort was absolutely amazing and exceeded all of my expectations. We originally booked just one night on our way to Key West, but after experiencing everything the property had to offer, we wished we had stayed much longer.
If we have the opportunity to make this trip again, we would choose to stay here for our entire vacation and simply take a day trip or two to Key West. The resort offers everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, with beautiful surroundings, excellent...

I highly recommend. Very good, even by Hampton standards. Breakfast was hot (bacon, sausage, eggs, home fries), not just continental. The feral chicken wandering around was a nice touch.

We stayed in the main building of the property. The room was spacious and well appointed including a hair dryer and kitchenette with microwave. They have free bikes and canoes available for guests. The ladies at reception were very helpful and nice. The place is close to the Marathon Lady docks where we took a fishing trip that was great fun. There is a pickle ball court, bbq and a pool. It was scorching hot so it would be nice if they planted more trees for greater shade. We had a nice stay-...

Love the retro look of the motel. Renovated room, very clean, no carpets, small kitchenette and well air-conditioned. View of Barley Basin, Everglades side. Small pool surrounded by vegetation, parking. Well-maintained site. Warm, friendly staff.

Our trip was planned to go to Key West but didn't want to pay the higher prices there so we stayed in Marathon where this motel is located. We are very glad we did as it is a little gem tucked away. We would of like to of stayed longer as we found this motel had a very relaxing atmosphere not like the bigger places with the hustle and bustle. As mentioned below the only negative thing was the pool not heated leaving it very cold and the ocean beach is not really set up to swim in. Both my...
