"It was more than expected. Room was clean and spacious and have everything in stock to cook in the kitchen. Very quiet resorts and Fisherman were super friendly highly recommend Captain Yampier Sanchez if you looking to go out sea fishing you will definitely come back with lots of fishes. Patricia and Mrs. Sally were super nice when purchasing things from the store and check out. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended. I am very picky with my places to stay but they made me feel like I was in paradise. Only one down fall that I wish there was someone to clean out the seaweeds from the beach side, which I couldn't enjoy much and had to go somewhere else to go into the beach. Overall, Great Resort!"

"Drop Anchor is a great place. Oceanfront but peaceful and the grounds are well kept. We like to walk everywhere and that was a bit hard to do and to no fault of Drop Anchor - just wish there was more dining/bars closer than a car ride. We will be back to stay."

"Upon check in my husband and I were told that we were given a complimentary upgrade for our room. The gentleman helping us pulled out a map and said you booked a room by the golf course but we have upgraded you to a room by the tennis courts. We thanked him for the offer but declined and said we would prefer the room we selected during booking. The man excused himself and came back with a manager, Natalie. We asked Natalie who gave us the upgrade and she said she didn't know but the new room was larger and had a kitchen. I again thanked her for the offer but said it was just two of us and we did not plan on cooking. She kept going on and on about how the room was bigger until i pulled up the Floorplan and pointed out that both rooms were 681 sqft. Finally I asked her if perhaps someone made a mistake and were overbooked. I would have been ok with this, just wanted honesty. She said the best she could do was put us in the new room tonight and then the next day we could move rooms but be without a room from 11am-4pm. No one wants to be without a room for even a few hours incase they would like to nap, change clothes, or just relax in a room they paid for. Aside from the bad experience during check in, it was a lovely place to stay"

"We had a great short stay at La Jolla Resort! The beds were comfy and the resort itself was nice. We took advantage of the paddle boards, kayaks, and snorkel gear. Also catching the sunset from the back on the hammocks was an added plus! "
