"This hotel is a total gem! Beautiful lobby and bar/restaurant area, friendly and efficient staff, and nicely appointed rooms: a really comfortable bed, elegant linens, excellent toiletries in the bathroom, and little touches like a good makeup mirror and cushioned hangers in the closet. It was a little noisy on my side of the hotel, but it's right in the heart of downtown Berkeley, so it's exactly what you'd expect. Walkable to literally everything you could possibly need/want, including a plethora of great restaurants. Reasonably-priced valet service, as well as a self-parking garage across the street. Gym was small but had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again! "

"It was a terrific room for the price. To be honest, it sits in a part of Berkeley that can be kind of marginal so I wasn’t expecting much. All I wanted was a clean place to spend a night in proximity to Berkeley. I was actually quite delighted with the room. The parking was free and there was plenty of it. The hotel manager was very friendly and welcoming. I would stay there again."

"Spacious, clean, uncluttered upper unit. Everything (stove, shower, microwave, etc.) was simple to operate and worked well. Near BART, Rockridge, and a short bus to Cal campus. One hiccup in our four days. I texted Chris and he called immediately and walked me through steps to resolution. A plus."
