Nobody at checkin desk and impossible to get hold of reception without phone. Were lucky we managed to run into the cleaners. Didnt receive check in information until 3 days after the booking and there were dead bugs all over desk and windowsill. Coffee and tea not replenished daily. Was told they could deliver luggage to next location- they made us walk 15min to central reception only to find that actually they didnt know how to and instead sent us to local convenient store. If I had have know that they there wouldnt have been any need to drag 2 massive suitcases across kyoto. Was a dampener on an otherwise brilliant trip.
