Perfect little place. Very well designed rooms perfect for families. Close enough to lots of bars and restaurants and nearby Nijo castle. Location is not in the castle but 500m or so east.

Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of small cafe and restaurants options. About a 8 min walk to subway. I’d stay there again if I stay in Kyoto. The hotel room was very spacious and very clean. My family enjoyed our stay very much.

The room was spacious, service staff were excellent and helpful. The location was good (off the beaten path and quiet), yet with easy access to all main public transportation and Kyoto's main attractions. Very enjoyable!

Utterly fantastic. A great location from the train station and a wonderful option for our family of 4 traveling in Japan. It was great to have a little room separation as there are sliding doors between bedrooms.

Spacious room (we had the junior suite?) that fit our family of four. Excellent customer service. Quiet area about five minute walk from subway or 25 minute walk to more commercial district. Lovely small restaurants in the neighborhood. Coin laundry on site was a nice bonus!

Traveling with our two teens, we opted for the big room, two bunks, a nice open room with a big couch and table and a master room. Rooms had dividers, which was awesome. Beds comfortable, quiet, really cool coffee shop right next door. Would stay here again, I know kids liked it too.
