This hotel has a fantastic location. Restaurants abound, La Plancha Park is at the end of the Gastronomic Street, Paseo Montejo is a block away with mansions, museums, restaurants, shop, and pedestrian Sundays. The staff is bilingual and couldn’t be nicer. The pool area is an oasis. I especially enjoyed it at sunset.

Our stay at Mansión Mérida was exceptional. The hospitality was warm and personal, and the owner’s presence made us feel truly welcomed. We were upgraded to the Master Suite, which was absolutely heavenly—elegant, spacious, and full of historic charm. The hotel feels like staying in a beautifully preserved mansion, with thoughtful touches throughout (we even loved the swag bag!).
