"had a very disappointing and concerning experience at Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites – Waterpark. The main reason I booked this hotel was because it advertised a full waterpark experience. The website and Expedia listing were filled with photos of a waterpark, and I even paid extra for access. However, when we arrived, the waterpark was completely under construction and unavailable, with no clear notice given ahead of time. This felt very misleading and like false advertising. On top of that, the room itself had serious safety and service issues. The smoke detector above my son’s bed was hanging off the ceiling with exposed electrical wires, which is extremely dangerous and unacceptable—especially in a family hotel. The in-room phone was also not connected, so I couldn’t contact the front desk. When I went down in person to request more pillows, I was told they would be sent to the room, but they never arrived. Between the misleading advertising, unsafe room conditions, and lack of basic service, this stay was frustrating and disappointing. I paid for amenities and a level of safety and comfort that were simply not provided. I would not recommend staying here, and I strongly suggest the hotel be more transparent and address these serious issues before accepting more guests."

"We booked this hotel specifically for the big TV ti watch March Madness. The TV was not working for several days and it did not appear to have anybody start working on it until the day the games were actually on on Wednesday. Would have been nice if they had started working on it earlier in the week rather than waiting till the day of the games. Then we tried to request them to change the TV. It took about 30 minutes even though they had told us earlier in the day they would play the Purdue game for us at 7:30. We ordered food from the restaurant, Copa Loca multiple times. Twice we had the salad and both times when we took it to go we were not given the dressing which goes along with it. Wound be nice if they told you they were out of the dressing! That’s what makes that salad! The housekeeping came once but did not leave us coffee creamer or Clean bath towels. The room needs a deep clean it was not very clean. We were fortunate to have a room in a great location. The workers did not seem to care if the guests were happy or not it was disappointing! Will definitely go to another property in the future. "

"Could have been a little cleaner at the cabana as we rented. There was trash in the ground at our cabana in the corner. "

"Everyone was so polite and helpful. Breakfast and happy hour were great. Always a lot of food and many things to choose from. I would highly recommend the Drury Hortel."

"This hotel desperately needs an upgrade, the rooms are so old it almost smells like mold, the sheets were very rough they felt like sandpaper, housekeeping definitely doesn’t change the sheets, when we took a shower the tub wasn’t draining and the carpet was soaked in some spots I’m pretty sure it had to do with the tub, the only reason we stayed was for MegaCon and how close it was, would we come back? No way. "
