Room was nice, beds comfortable. They were replacing the carpet on 2 floors so many rooms not filled. The casino was dead, no one was in any of the restaurants, not sure they were even open. One of the sports bars had a few people. It was kind of eery. I the price was right, so it didn't bother us.

Room was lacking in amenities no robes as listed or the biggest no coffee pot. This is our 3rd stay at the fontaine and I regret to say we will probably chose a new hotel for next years event.

The only "negative" I had was the balcony being non-accessible. But it didn't ruin my stay, just would've been cool to sit out. Otherwise, this is one of my favorite hotels to stay at.

Conveniently located to power and light, the street car which has multiple stops for sightseeing and eats. Loews is at least a yearly stop for us. Quiet, great views of KC skyline. Pool was clean and refreshing. Good drinks at the bar.
