Malcolm Island Vacation Packages

We arrived early and were denied early check in as the room was still “being cleaned” - fair enough, but the room was not clean when we finally checked in. There was still coffee and grounds in the coffee pot from the previous guests, and the bathroom sink and corners of the rooms were dirty. There is no front desk and check in must be done at the restaurant next door; fine except they have no supplies to provide if extras are needed. We stayed for 2 nights and the room was not cleaned or replenished during our stay, meaning we had to go over to the restaurant to ask for more shampoo, which they were unable to provide (and so we had no shampoo for our second day). There was also a boil water advisory in town that the restaurant and hotel didn’t tell us about (we were told by a different pub) and when we asked for bottled water to drink and to make coffee with, they were resistant to provide it and would not provide as much as we requested. The restaurant staff were lovely but unable to help much as there was no manager on site and the hotel owner/manager was only available remotely.
