« I was very impressed with the setup and the decor of the apartment. It was very convenient to be steps away from the bridge and the main street. Was very grateful that it was pet-friendly. My dog was very comfortable. One thing I would recommend is to add a light in the walkway to the apartment. It was very uncomfortable to be alone walking between the two buildings in the dark. »

We particularly loved the indoor hot tub, private dock, the firepit, the large kitchen, and the pool, which was a big hit with the kids. « We had a fantastic stay. Waking up and enjoying a cup of tea with only the sounds of nature around you. We left all the stress of the city behind for the weekend. The cabin was adorable with everything we needed..the bed was so comfortable, it was hard to get out of it. 10/10 will be back. Carolyn and Paul were great hosts. Before we left we took a tour for the animal sanctuary. Which was the cherry on top of a great weekend »

« The cottage had everything we needed, with a beautiful view of the water. We were lucky enough to catch a stunning sunset over the lake on our first night, which really set the tone for a relaxing stay. Jennifer is a thoughtful and accommodating host who was easy to communicate with. She offered us thicker blankets in case it got chilly and even upgraded our cottage at no extra cost. Everyone in the community was so friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be returning! »

« The unkept and neglected exterior led to a grubby interior. One of the plastic deck chairs was broken and unusable. Floors were dirty and left our socks grey; there was pink mould in the tub & shower stalls, black mould on the water level of one toilet and no one had cleaned the ceiling ventilation fans or behind the toilets in either bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the bed linens were good. There was just one hand towel. Also, insufficient furniture in the bedrooms - night...
