"The bar is excellent The evening meal was ok but pricey The staff are very attentive The room was very clean but the floor is at an incredible angle (room 136) meaning the bed was tipped to one corner so I woke up with a headache and backache so chose to go for a walk rather than have breakfast. I would definitely stay again but would have to insist on a bed where my head was higher than my feet .... I only ever sleep with 1 pillow so more pillows is not an option. ⭐⭐⭐ Out of 5 based on my mood this morning didn't complain .. learn and carry on 👍"

"We had a two-night stay in the beach house. While the room itself was acceptable, on closer inspection the bathroom did not appear to be thoroughly cleaned. In general, the attention to cleanliness in the main areas of the hotel also seemed lacking. During our stay, we experienced a few maintenance issues. The hot tap in the outdoor bath leaked when in use, and in the room both the TV and lamps flickered intermittently. Although breakfast was included, I was disappointed to learn it was served at the main hotel, approximately a four-minute walk away. Unfortunately, we had to make this walk in the rain, and were only offered a buggy ride on the return journey. Finally, I feel that guests paying to stay at the hotel should have access to the spa facilities included, rather than being charged an additional £45 per person."

"First of all, every single staff member we interacted with were superb. Lovely room and views. Great little touches throughout the hotel. Love the bar. Good breakfast and the restaurant was lovely too with good food offerings. "

"Stayed with my daughter in a twin room. Really comfy beds. Room looked good, cosy and was clean. Nice toiletries in the bathroom and liked the addition of a duck for my daughter’s bath. Great breakfast! Staff friendly. We ate dinner in the pub too and that was lovely. All in all a great stay and we’d recommend. "

"Initial concerns regarding cleanliness in the bathroom were quickly resolved to an acceptable standard. Staff were friendly and approachable. Breakfast was good although some items from the buffet were not re stocked straight away when used up ,ie ,juice. The bar ,although well stocked was really overpriced. "
