« This is a great place to stay to get away from it all! Close enough to Hilo to get back into the all of you want. We also wound up driving north around the island to the west side a bit more than towards Hilo. Just sitting on the porch and looking out at the sky & ocean was so peaceful. Wish we had better weather. Got 1.5 sunrises and one night starry sky out of 7 nights but, that was only the fault of Mother Nature. Still so peaceful in the rain. « My husband and I so enjoyed our stay in the Pineapple Cottage at Hulili Farm. While the location made sight-seeing around the island easy, we often opted to stay in and enjoy the sound of the rain on the roof and the sway of the hanging bed on the lanai. We hope to come back again soon! »

« Staying at the lava temple was truly a spiritual and unique experience. We fell asleep to the sounds of nature and woke up to a beautiful sun rise over the lava fields. Couldn’t recommend more for a get away! »

« Area was very good & property is in very good shape. Also provided best facilities. There only needs to do some maintenance outside like grass cutting and clean the walkway path. Other than that it’s best to stay there during vacation time »

« It is charming in a rustic way. It was smaller than we thought and the only heat in the living room and kitchen was a wood burning stove so we spent a lot of time and energy trying to stay warm. The first 2 days there was no live TV but a new spectrum box was brought in. Theresa, the property manager was very accommodating. »

« My husband, five year old and I stayed here for 3 days. We really enjoyed our stay! It was a beautiful open floor plan, artistic decor with big slider windows leading out to the patio. At night there was a wonderful cross breeze and sounds of geckos and coqui frogs floating on that breeze. It was in a convenient spot, not directly in town but close enough to go out for food, drinks, beaches, etc. The owners were kind and quiet. Their dog was such a sweetheart, our daughter loved the encounters...

« We enjoyed our stay at this interesting space. Matt has created a cozy and usable space with everything you might need to settle in. It is close to the National Park, so you can zip over to take in a hike or two, come back and eat lunch, and go again. We didn't watch TV, but the DVD library was impressive.
